Gaming

Our open gaming room will be stocked with classic board and card games of alien adventure, such as Cosmic Encounter, The Awful Green Things from Outer Space, Alien Hotshots, Cogno, and Star Munchkin. There will be role-playing games as well, both tabletop and LARP (live action role playing). If you would like to run a role-playing scenario, especially one set in a Larry Niven universe, email gaming@conjecture.org.

Changeling LARP

The Starlight Dreams Troupe presents, Throne of Seasons,a Shining Host Mind's Eye Theater Chronicle set and based in San Diego California. It runs a monthly game filled with costumes, props, and High Drama set in the otherworld of Fair Folk hidden just beyond mortal ken. The Duchy of Starlit Waters is once again a place of peace. The fires of The Second Accordance War have been squelched by peace and heroism. In the heart of this newly formed peace is the mysterious Throne of Seasons, a relic of ancient and unspeakable power over the ancient 27 Trods of Balboa. Now, all 14 Houses of the Nobility engage in a game of politics, intrigue, and sorcery to curry favor with Prince Joseph Ap Liam, Regent of the Throne of Seasons. The Houses of Winter and Summer scheme against one another as the knightly order of The Queens Own maintains the peace and protects all from the minions of nightmare. In the game of thrones, will you be a pawn, player, or victim? Only the Dreaming knows...

OOC Notes: Starlight Dreams Troupe uses the Shining Host Changeling LARP book. If you want to create a character in advance, please email the Storyteller at Keichiokami@yahoo.com, Otherwise, pre-gens will be available for play. There is a minimum age of 13 years for this game due to mature content. Those under 13 will not be allowed to play. If there is a question of age, IDs with proof of age will be checked (no proof of age, no play).
